List of the Cabinet of Ministers of the New Government of Somaliland 2024

The elected president of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irro

The new president of the Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro) announced today the list of the new cabinet of the administration, after he issued a decree.

The members of the cabinet, which consists of 48 members including ministers, deputies and ministers of state, were shared with the media by Aden Deyr, the new spokesperson of the president who was also appointed this morning.

Most of the appointed ministers are from the Nationalist Party which won the recent election in Somaliland where Muse Bihi was defeated.

This nomination comes after Abdirahman Irro officially took over as the president of Somaliland last Thursday.

1.   Mr. Abdalla Mohamed Arab (Sandheere) Minister of Internal Security of the Republic of Somaliland.

2.   Mr. Hassan Ahmed Duale (Macalin) Minister of the Ministry of Local Government and Urban Development of the Republic of Somaliland.

3.   Mr. Yonis Ahmed Yonis Muhammad Minister of Justice of the Republic of Somaliland.

4.   Mr. Abdullahi Hassan Adan Awale, Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Republic of Somaliland.

6.   Dr Hussein Bashir Hirsi Wahan Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland.

7.   Mr. Hussein Ahmed Aydeed Warsame, Minister of Public Works, Lands and Housing of the Republic of Somaliland.

8.   Mr. Khadar Hussein Abdi Looge, Minister of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Republic of Somaliland.

9.   Mr. Ali Jama Farah (Mountain) Minister of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources of the Republic of Somaliland.
